Was nice all day then started raining around 6pm. Meant I didn't get the oil changed in my wife's car. Will have to do that later this week.

raining again....but still a nice day, had a doc appointment (follow up from my recent illness), he was like--so why are you here, you feel fine (er, uhm, I was TOLD I had to do a followup)....sigh, another $ that my insurance will balk at paying

Been a nice day so far, woke up 7 am when it was a bit cloudy and chill, but as the day has progressed the sun is showing it's pretty little face.

no, it was the hospital that wanted me to follow up and that was the doctor they told me to follow up with (I had never seen him before, and after the drive I had to get there, wont be going back either), but yeah, stupid I could have just called and told them 'yeah, I feel fine', and the paperwork I had to arrive 1/2 hour early to fill out was 5 sheets of paper on which I had to print my name, birthday, phone number and sign...oooooooh that took me a whole 2 minutes! --then they kept asking me for my cell phone number (gee I said I dont even own one, do you want me to make one up?) and my work phone (gee since I dont HAVE a job, exactly what phone number would you like me to write in)...and the stupidest question--which number is the best to reach you at

They had no questions about my health or why I was there, usually when I go to a new doctor they have me fill in the sheet 'do you or any member of your family have:'; perhaps they knew I have no plans to return to this doctor?

supposed to be cooler today, but the allergy count on the weather channel had just about everything in the HIGH zone, perhaps I wont be going out.

That is crazy cosy. I would not be happy especially since you wasted a few hours of your day more than likely. So you lost time adn money. Not cool.

Not any cooler today or anytime soon. They called for isolated thunderstorms today but doesn't look like we are going to get anything. Oh well.

was trying to forget that I had totally wasted most of my day on that (I did stop by the grocery store on the way back--so I didnt feel like it was a complete failure).

Well I'm glad it wasn't a total waste.

Not any cooler here. Still mid to upper 80's. Getting ready to go to my folks house to help fix the pool cover. That should be fun since it tore out of the concrete... Yay.

Wife and I took her car to the car wash yesterday. Got it all shiny and stuff, pull out and not even a minute later... Rain. And lots of it... Oh well...

It is supposed to be nice here as well. Maybe I can convince my wife to go to the park near us for a hike.

had to go outside today--allergies are realllllly bad...so if you go on that hike take your meds well in advance!
another nice day, bit warm, but still not hot (and better than what we had a few months ago).

It was "snowing" yesterday so we didn't do the pool. So much cottonwood in the air. Haven't been outside yet, didn't feel 100% when I woke up today so I didn't go on my run. Oh well. Definitely looks like a nice day out.

We are getting ready to head out. Have to go pay rent, go to the bank, and then go to Wal-Mart. My wife apparently likes shopping on pay day... >.>

had to go out today too, seems that express mail no longer means they will try to redeliver, even though the idiot I spoke with yesterday said they would, but alas he either had no clue--guess you only need an iq of less than 60 to work there, or he lied, I think both. And yeah there is soo much fluff in the air I feel like my head is full of cotton and lethargic.

lol paycheck has always been shopping day (and no I did no shopping today, though I did go to the bank as well).

The UPS guys here will go knock on a door and then immediately run away. Don't even give you a chance to get to the door before they are gone. >.>

It was surprisingly not to bad there. I figured since we were going between 4-5 it would be awful, but I guess we beat the rush. Thankfully.

How often is it you guys are paid for your job, is it per week, per 2 weeks or per month?

We just have our local post offices doing the delivering or you can go there and pick it up, whichever you prefer really.

depends on the job, some people get paid weekly, some get paid every 2 weeks, some get paid by-monthly (not quite the same as every 2 weeks), some get paid monthly...Most of the places I worked it was either weekly or every 2 weeks. Salaried people usually get the by-monthly or monthly paychecks.

yes we have the PO deliver, but we also have ups, fedex, dhl, and a bunch of small local delivery services. I usually prefer usps since they deliver 6 days a week (and usually express mail or ems on sundays as well), ups only delivers 5 days (m-f) and fed ex the same (tu-sat).

I got paid twice a month. On the 15th and the last day of the month (30th or 31st, or 28th or 29th in February).

Supposed to rain today. Though it doesn't look like it. Guess we will find out soon.
